The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
